Party.Rent only stores personal data that is personally provided by the person concerned. This privacy statement becomes effective when you visit our website or use our services.

Server Log Files

Purpose, legal basis and legitimate interest

When you access our website, i.e., even if you do not register or otherwise submit information, information of a general nature is automatically collected. This information (server log files) includes, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your internet service provider, your IP address, and the like.

This information is processed for the following purposes:

• Ensuring a smooth connection to the website,

• Ensuring the smooth use of our website and

• Evaluating system security and stability.

We also reserve the right to check the server log files retrospectively if there are concrete indications of unlawful use.

The processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR based on our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website.

Recipient of the data

For the operation and maintenance of our website, we use technical service providers who act as our processors.

Storage period

The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected. This is generally the case for data used to provide the website when the respective session has ended.

Purpose and legal basis

If you want to contact us, you can fill in a contact form on the website. The personal data entered in the contact form is processed in encrypted form. When you fill in the contact form, we need the following personal information from you:

Recipient of the data

Party.Rent and the relevant service providers have access to this personal data. We have a processing agreement with the contracted service providers to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your personal data.

Storage period

When a contact enquiry has been completed, the accompanying personal data will be removed from all parties within 5 days.

Provision prescribed or required

The provision of your personal data is voluntary. However, we can only process your request if you provide us with your name, telephone number, e-mail address, and the reason for the request.

Webshop order

Purpose and legal basis

If you want to order something in our webshop, we need the following personal data from you:

We need this information to execute your order.

After processing the order or enquiry, your personal data will be deleted from our online shop after 1 year.

Our website and/or service do not intend to collect personal data about visitors who are younger than 16 years old, unless they have the permission of parents or guardians. We cannot check if a visitor is older than 16. Should you wish to exercise your rights, please contact our Data Protection Officer. We will respond to your request as soon as possible and in any case within four weeks. Please enclose a copy of your identity card with your request. Please note that your identity card number must be covered. Furthermore, you must state on your copy that it is being provided for the above-mentioned purpose. This is the only way we can ensure that only you have access to your personal information.

Party.Rent has no control over the use of data by social media. We cannot obtain traceable personal data from Google Analytics or change it for you.

We would also like to inform you that you have the option to complain to the national supervisory authority, the Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information. If you object, we will no longer process your personal data, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims.
